Hey what's going on. I am new to this site and i had a few questions. I just started smoking recently and I am knew to this. I've never bought any bud because usually my friend gets it from his connect. Well, I want to start buying but I do not know that much about it.
Let me see if I can kind of show you where I am at haha.
I know that headies is good
I know that Beast isn't bad
I know that shwag is more low grade
I've smoked all three. The head that I smoked usually had red hairs or had a strong smell to it.
To be honest I just do not know much about the types and I haven't seen enough bags to be able to determine the amounts yet.
Can't help ya much about the different strains (though it's easy to look at smoke and tell whether it's crap or not). I would invest in a $20 set of digital scales, too, if I were you. 1 oz.=28 grams; 1/2=14 grams, etc., learn those types of basics so you don't get ripped off.
Oh, and enjoy being a beginner stoner while you can; the highs are the most intense you will ever experience

Brown= CRAP, you'll get high but it might take a whole bag to do it.
Brownish/Greenish= so-so, the more seeds and stems it has the more likely its not that good.
dark pine colored green= not too bad, if it smells strongly it would be better, if your weed doesnt smell like weed you may be getting ripped off.
Greens varying from light to almost white to slightly dark= GOOD STUFF! The ones with crystals and "viney" hairs like purple, red, white etc etc those are bomb buds. If it smells like a skunk or stronger, thats the shite!
Also, ask people that you smoke with to keep their eyes out for you until you learn the differences. I smoked for 3 years before I even bought one bag. I mooched a lot, but I also learned a lot and I also had cool stoner friends who toked me up regardless of if I buy or not. There were a few times in those 3 years I ponied up money for a bag to even out my "mooching"
Also, try to find connects that you TRUST, a respectful stoner will usually not rip you off, they know they would hate it if someone ripped them off so they wouldnt do the same to you. There are some idiots who do rip people off. Buy from people you know, people you'd be comfortable around. Beware of shady parts of town, shady characters and shady deals. For example.....1 oz for 40 dollars sounds like a great deal, you're probably getting ripped off.....if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Two years ago, I couldn't tell you a thing about pot or anything at all to do with this wonderful substance OR the paraphenalia that you smoke it with. HECKKKKK, a year ago I couldn't even roll a joint... and now, I smoke my fair share of weed and am pretty in tune with stoner etiquette. It really just takes time to learn, you will constantly be learning something new and picking up on other people's habits. When you are chilling with a large group of stoners, just pay close attention.

If it's imported and has a strong ammonia smell,it could be good.If it doesn't it probably isn't.That's been my experience here in Georgia,anyway!
