I just had a friend over to smoke and I used to enjoy smoking with her, but now she gets way too paranoid. It gets to the point where we get in arguements. Every time she hears a noise, she freaks out and checks all the windows. I told her she needs to chill out but she said its because she is going to be a teacher and if she gets caught, her future is ruined. As a college student working on her teaching degree, would she not be able to teach if she got caught smoking? She just isn't any fun to smoke with anymore.

Paranoia isn't any fun for anybody. Remind her that if a things worth doing, its worth doing right. If she's going to smoke, smoke and enjoy it, or else don't smoke.
As a student, she is in danger of losing any government loans she has if she is convicted of a drug crime. I don't know how that effects getting a teaching job.

This is Iowa right?? Tell her that the only thing that would bust into the room would probably be Bessie the cow.
If shes THAT worried about her future, she should not be smoking, and if she refuses to stop, you can ask her to either enjoy or get the heck out, its no fun when someone kills your buzz because THEY cant handle theirs.
The more paranoid someone gets while stoned, the more likely they'll be caught. I smoked all thru my entire senior year at high school and never got more than an occasional teacher asking if I was up all night again (I was known in my school as a night owl....which explained red eye lol)
10 years later I'm still toking and not a one run in with the law related to it.......*knocks on wood*

I had a friend that was acting like that once. I dimmed the lights, sat her down in my lazy boy, lit some inscence, put on some marley, made her a wheat grass drink and slowly massaged her scalp. We even smoked more a little later. She has never suffered from paranoia ever again.
