It's been raining just a lil bit here....OMG...our garage has had 2 1/2 ft in it with the water only being about 1/2 an inch away from coming into the family room....when we got up this morning dad had to move my car since it had 3 inches in it already....all day long we've heard helicopters flying around picking people up off their roof tops...if we make it through tonite the rain is suppose to let up tomorrow and hopefully we'll start drying out....

Yeah, those rainstorms have flooded a lot of apartments in my complex and have been about all anyone would talk about at school today. I personally had to jump a rather sizable lake that formed at the bottom of the stairs, but I've been thanking my lucky stars all day that I have an upstairs apartment!
Good luck with the ware mom, the rains has let up here, so hopefully your drying out a little bit.

holy smokes we've made national news.....abc nightly news started their broadcast tonite with our lil town....then turn on the weather channel 20 minutes later and there we are again....all the freakin helicpoters fly'n around we kinda feel like a war zone here....so the water went down for a bit today but it's back up again with the drainage backing up behind us....we're hoping to be able to make it through tonite staying dry....

we had a really bad ice storm here knocked out power to thousands of people for over a day. it was the second ice storm like that this year. now im just waiting for the really bad blizzard like we had back in march of this year. that flooding looks bad hope you guys are doin alright ill smoke one for ya.
hope the rain stops soon and the damage isnt too bad

i just saw the news that storm is heading right for iowa. its gonna all turn to ice and freeze the shit out of everything again i just hope the power doesnt go out.
Yeah I am in your area Mom, and it is really bad. Our weather has been nothing short of bizarre for the last few yrs. Remember when it just drizzled all winter there for the last twenty yrs before that? Now we have terrible windstorms, and flooding, and lots more snow int he winter than we had for the rest of the time I been here. Good luck with all that.... PEace
