NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP/WXYZ) - A burned and beheaded body found by a utility crew is that of a convicted sex offender.
A single fingerprint from the victim's burned hand has allowed Michigan State Police to identify him as 26-year-old Daniel Gene-Vincent Sorensen.
The print reveals that Sorensen had been a registered sex offender in Illinois.
Northville Township sewer and water department crews found the body at the end of a cul-de-sac about 20 miles northwest of Detroit about 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
Sorensen's head has not been found.
A cause of death has not been determined.

to be honest when I opened this post I was expecting some kind of gory report about how he tried to rape another girl and she bit his "head" off and he bled to death....that would be some Karma lol.
While I dont condone murder or any kind of killing really, I guess he got what he deserved.

Without knowing his specific crime, I don't think its a good idea to show support for his murder. Its important to remember that people can be labeled sex offenders for a variety of things. For all we know, the guy had a 17 year old girlfriend with vindictive parents when he was 18. On the other hand, he could have raped 50 babies.
Either way, I don't think anyone deserves to die by being burned alive and decapitated.

Yup..this was a horrible way to die..but I can't help but wonder about the deterrent factor..I wonder if the other sex offenders in the area,are thinking of moving ?

My guess.... Decapitation.
