I got so many roaches right now , so should I roll them into 1 joint and smoke it, or should I put them in my apple pipe and smoke them up? The reason I'm asking you this is because my friend can't smoke with me today, and I'm all alone and need some other stoner's presence.

Its up to you. I usually take the roach, slip off the paper, put the roach weed in the bottom a bowl and pack something else over the top of it(for taste... roach weed is strong, but nasty tasting, both because of the resin). I dont always do that though(sometimes roaches are the end of my stash), sometimes I just pack them in a bowl and smoke them. Rerolling is an option too, except that will inevitably leave you with another roach .
So basically, whatever you want bro. Just smoke that shit |

Then you save it in another container, and only put 2nd generation roaches with it, then you roll all those!!! The apple pipe might make it taste 100% better though.

roach is an at least once lit but unfinished joint, mostly the word is used to describe that small eentzy part of the joint that is too small to relight while held in the fingers but needs a "roach clip"

A good point, the best way to avoid your roaches dilemma is to roll with a filter. I do both but we were only speaking of one so I hadn't even thought about filters .

A Roach is vernacular for the remainder of a spliff after most has been smoked. It is derived from the Mexican Spanish slang term for marijuana, la cucaracha, "cockroach". These can be smoked further through use of roach clips. They are often discolored to a yellow-brown by the build-up of resin and so will burn slower than the rest of the joint.
Joints are rolled with tobacco to help them burn. The tobacco leaks tar, which can cover and burn the smoker's lips and fingers. A roach is a small piece of cardboard, often torn from the pack of rolling papers, which is rolled and placed into the mouthpiece of the joint. This makes it easier to hold and also makes it possible to smoke the entire joint without the aid of a roach clip. Roach (drug culture) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
thank you wikipedia
personally, i've never even heard of using a filter for joints,
and the fact that it quits burning when not being smoked,
just helps me smoke it more efficiently
good thing we have roach clips huh? |

Me and my group of friends rarely put crutches/filters/whatever into our joints for a long time, and during that time, I developed a reputation for smoking roaches down into nothing. I'd literally smoke put the clips on the very end and smoke it down to a scrap of joint no wider than the clip.
Heres a shitty diagram of we mean by joints having crutches, filters, or whatnot as apposed to joint without. The ---'s represent marijuana(and help keep the formatting).

Regular joint, no filter. Whatevers left when you stop smokin is the roach.

Joint with crutch/filter/whatever. Rolled up paper in the smoking end makes it easier to smoke all the pot without burning your fingers, also keeps badly rolled joints from falling apart and getting resiny weed in your mouth. I suggest smoking all the way down to paper, but if you for some reason dont, whatevers left is the roach. I suppose some people might call the paper butt thats left when your done a roach, but it doesnt apply here because the initial question was about roaches containing weed and what to do with them.

LOL | Lol, I'll answer as best I can, I'm no rolling expert, but here goes.
When I'm done I generally just throw the paper away, it can get a little resiny, but not resiny enough to tempt me to smoke cardboard, and I'm fairly frugal. If anyone has a use for one, I'd love to hear it.
As for rolling, how I usually do it is I roll the joint normally, but leave one end open and usually a little less or about a centimeter of space for the filter. Then, you get a piece of cardboard(like from a cigarette package, postcard, cereal box, etc) and tear it to near the width you left empty in the joint and a few inches long(trial and error for how long is right). Then you roll that up tight and slide it into the end of your joint. Once its inside and you let go it'll loosed up a bit and expand to the space. Like I said, a bit of trial and error to get the best size that fits in ok, expands and stays in place, seems to block the opening the right way, etc. Like I said, I'm no expert and that methods pretty much just made up from watching friends do it.
Anyone here have another method?
