Any bong or pipe smokers familiar with those lighters (unilite?) with the little plastic lid that you pull back? Personally I don't like inhaling the plastic lid with my hit.

Ew, electric lighters. The CVS near my house only had those for like a month or two. I really hate them for smoking bud, but it's not as bad as having to use a match lol.

Scripto lighters are the fucking worst. Those things spark like crazy and have on occasion blown the weed right out of my bowl. Plus the flame is often too big and wastes all of it. Bic ftw

I went to spark my bowl the other night with one of those cheap see-through lighters and it ell apart! A spring popped out of it from no where, and the flint striker fell off and the damn thing nearly exploded!

^^^QFT. I will buy nothing, but bics. Only thing I can honestly say against a bic is that everyone with a cheap lighter always try to end up with it in the end!

I try to always buy bic( bug fan of the hot pink) but sometimes i'll be in the dollar store and they will have like 3 for a buck lighters and I load up on 'em but then later on I always realize why I never buy the shitty ones, worst lighters ever..

I usually get a Clipper or two, then failing that a Bic. There are some terrible lighters, like the shop nearest me sells Swan lighters, which almost hurt to strike, definitely not what you're looking for when you're trying to enjoy your bong lol

I dont know what theyre called but around here a lot of shops sell these lighters with no wheel, and a little flashlight on the bottom. They break really easily and usually for no reason.

omg.. that reminded me of last night I went the store w/ my mom and asked her to buy me a lighter cuz I had no cash on me, and she asked what for and I grinned and said my incense.. she was like oh yeah right use a match. So she baught me a big ass box of matches.... I learned later that I suck at trying to smoke out of a bong w/a match. I gave up and rolled a shitty lookin blunt... and then went to the store after I finished to to a lighter. hahaha.

I've got one of those beside me here, it's half full but randomly stopped working the other day when we were trying to smoke a pipe, as if it was out of fluid. Now it's fine.

Matches are absolutely terrible for lighting pipes. If you only have matches and a candle, then you can light the candle and use the candle to smoke the bud. Just don't let the wax drip into your piece. That wouldn't be too much fun.

Matches actually are about the healthiest way to toke a pipe... Assuming you allow the sulfur to burn off, and that you use wooden matches, not cardboard.
