It has been a while since i lived in mendocino but i remember most of the people I met there that where growing were doing so just for personel or family use. with a lil left over for helping with the bills around the holidays . I was fortunate enough to have lived in humboldt and mendo for several yrs before 1996 so i cant really speak for now but it seemed that there was about the same amount in either county when we lived up there. Of the 2 county's though i have to admit i was a little more fond of mendo. co. the people were very nice and helpful especially in northern mendo.and I still have not found any place in america that i liked as much where we lived just a few miles east of 101 .Our neighbors were great and really made us feel at home even though we were new to the area back then . I just didnt get that same feeling in humboldt and we moved to mendo because of it .. But as far as amount's produced i think it was pretty close back then . now' who the hell knows i try and keep up with the local papers and freinds that still live up that way but i guess we wont find out till they can have a grow off kinda thing . You know like a contest to see which county can produce the most ready for market bud in a set amount of time.I think a lot of people would find that kind of contest way more interesting than american idol or that so you cant dance for shit show .and would deff be better than ice road truckers .
