I had a super awesome idea and as far as i can tell it hasnt been done in the forums(unless my searchbar has failed me yet again)

i would like everyone to put your best arguement for legalizing the green plant we all love so much. i will put mine up later cause i dont have the time right now i posted this so i wouldnt forget the idea hehehe

so go forth and convince hahaha, maybe we can write a letter to congress when we compile enough.

or we can all draft a letter and everyone can write it out and we can flood congress with tons of letters from diff adresses in different states or atleast postmarked from tons of different places if youre worried about getting busted.

It's all about political wall pissing, I don't ever see it being 100% legal.

i know that but this was just a fun thing and i mean fuck if it does a bit of good then wats to lose?

In seattle theyre trying to get the 40 gram and under misdemeanor changed to a civil violation so instead of the mandatory minimum 1 day in prison and 250-500 dollar fine theyre trying to get it changed to a civil violation with an up to 100 dollar fine.

and the reasoning is sound

its because busting someone with under 40 grams wont hurt the dealers, and it wont decrease the number of people smoking it so they think they should just make it like a speeding ticket.

I wish they would change some laws around here. If you get caught with anything it's straight to jail without passing go. That's why I don't travel. Stupid laws keep me at home.

They don't do shit to you here in cleveland, Under 4o grams is a 100$ fine.
Anything real small like a 20 sack the damn cops will just keep it for themselves
and send you on your way.

I have used Marijuana since 1987, usually on daily basis. I have been perscribed numerous perscription toxins which most always had some kind of horrible side effect. I became legally able to use Medical Cannabis in 1996 and currently still remain legal to use, grow and poscess Medical Marijuana.
Marijuana is truly the answer for so many social issues ie; medical, economical, enviormental and the list goes on and on. Our Goverment is ran by the politicans voted into office by us, to make laws and choices for us lol........ the moral to the arguement is dont put anymore elected, appointed corrupt politicians into power that dont accept an adult individuals choice to ingest, poscess and grow cannabis. Legal or not I will use Marijuana as needed to survive. I am very greatful to live in California and that the fed's are pretending to be coming around however we need to continue to help all humans have the right to safely feel better !!!!

In a free society ... no argument should have to be made for legalization of ANYTHING .. The argument should have to be made to make something illegal .. and currently the argument to make MJ illegal is fraudulent.

I can certainly understand and accept MAN regulating MAN-MADE substances, but marijuana grows freely and I cannot see where it is anyone's business to regulate it. I AGREE that as long as others can tell me what I can and cannot do I am not free.

Did I not learn years ago that the Native Americans never believed in land ownership because in that man did not create the earth he can not own it? Sorta made sense to me. I could be wrong on that factoid, but the idea behind it still rings true.

Damned government allowed the cigarette industry to tell us lighting up was great- now years later they sit back and let the tobacco industry take the fall (which they deserved, honestly- lying scumdoggies). Government says take this drug and that drug, then after too many people die they take it off the market, but never do you hear the government say they were WRONG. Man made stuff under man's control.

I think the best thing to do is just smoke the stuff like it's our own decision and go on with it. What an ideal, eh? Could we not make just one day a month OUR day, say the 20th or something, where everyone just lights up where they want? Surely they cannot arrest us all. I know- impractical. Some of us would have an un-affordable attorney bill. But we should and oughta do it!

Ok, So picture this.

Its a saturday night and 4 guys are meeting up to go to a club and get drunk. Depending where they stay it might be a bit of a trek to the club so theres a danger there may be drunk driving going on.

Then, you have another 4 guys on the same night next door who are going to get baked and chill out. Depending where they stay it might be a bit of a trek to a good place for munchies, So theres a danger of stoned driving going on.

I do not condone drunk driving (im not as big on drinking anymore either, the whole bravado shit that comes around and the hangovers) as its obviously illegal.

I have done both drunk and stoned driving (slightly over the drink limit i beleive, idiot...) and the stoned driving was much more of a safer drive, While stoned i was very focused on the driving to a point i may have been up to or over the ability of driving while sober.

So if they decide to walk, Which group will be pretty mellow and not looking for trouble? Which will be rowdy and causing shit?

I'm also very pissed off why such a thing as alchohol is legal and marijuana isnt, Ive had a close female friend who had the date rape drug slipped on her, Having seen the aftermath and what she had to go through, Aswell as friends puking, fighting and passing out from drinking too much. With marijuana it couldnt be manipulated so easily by some fucking creep, If you passed out (sleeping) among stoner friends theyd probably notice if something was up and please, Just try taking too much marijuana, If you dont fall asleep first!

This has gone on, way to long. Hope you got the gist of what i was trying to say. Drink = bad, Marijuana = good.
