i was 14 or 15 when my family and me went to italy by motorail.
it was the last day of school and we had breakfast with our departing french teacher Mr Lellau...scored some bottles of wine from the previous party at our auditorium.friend of mine broke down on the street,and got carried to the hospital,LOL.
me and 2 friends went to the video store on our bikes and were pretty pissed of the wine.
went to my friends home and watched this woody allen film...something called "the sleeper"
then i remembered i had to be home soon to catch our train to italy.
arrived at our house drunk,and my big sister gave me sparkling water to drink...and i puked.
then off to the train station..
next morning i had quite a headache,awaking on the train!
drove by car to our holiday home.
got hungry and went to the next restaurant for some spaghetti and tomato salad.
was spaghetti bolognese like we never had before...
really yummy,i still remember it.
we stayed in a house next to a lake where we would swim in in the evening and had sparkling wine.
one day i took my air mattress and went off to the middle of this huge lake.
got off and on and caught major sunburn...on our trip home,my skin was peeling off...no fun,but i got my first valium!
was a trip!! i wrote down my thoughts while slowly passing out,LOL.
we used to go to eat pizza in a small village restaurant almost every night.
you didn't have to order extra cheese, it came with a huge load of yummy cheese,unlike here in germany.
you could watch the pizza man filling the fire oven as you waited for your munch!
we also went to Venice by train.
very nice.
just wanted to share the most awesomly holiday i had...as a kid.
