Me and the wife are talking about right now. And I'd like to know if he will be remembered as genius, accussed or both? It seems the rest of the World held him at a higher regard then us in the States. Either way I hope he was at peace with himself.

simple, I will remember him as he was on his videos while I sang into random things and danced in my mother's kitchen as a teenager

he will be remember as the most successful recording artist of our time. the true king of pop music and one of the most talented entertainers of all time.

I will remember him as being just human as well as the genius behind "Thriller."

i will remember him for the amazing shows he put on

if people think hes weird or not he still has talent exceeding todays music generation. might he be looked upon as a weirdo but he is human, he has done stupid things such as us all. we just dont have the world and cameras watching every stupid thing we've done. remember him for the good he has brought us, you wouldnt want your funeral reminiscing on everything bad you've done

omg when i was a kid i was michael jackson crazy! i had posters, hat, tshirt, mj socks even! i had a tiny record player & would play billy jean over & over (its still in my top 5 fav songs ever) even if people thought he was weird or a creep he was still a genius! most ppl that are pegged as weirdos are the most intelligent ppl anyways!

i will remember him as both

i wish i never knew anything about his personal life but he went out of his way to shove it down everyone's throat so he earned his reputation

i will also remember him as being a great humanitarian who made songs spreading the message about poverty and hunger and he gave millions to charities.

his music broke racial barriers, bridged generation gaps, and inspired countless artists to this day. he should be remember for all the good things he gave to the world thru his music. this was a man who gave his life to entertain us. ever since he was 5 years old he has been in the public eye he never had a real childhood from jackson 5 to off the wall to thriller to bad to everything else he has done he is and forever will be the king of pop a legend of music the immortal michael jackson. RIP i still cant believe hes gone its like losing a piece of my childhood

Regardless of if he did or didn't.....I choose not to allow that blemish of his life to deter me from remembering all the great things he had done.


Most people see MJ as the weird dude who keeps getting surgeries and was totally off the wall, not me....


I remember the glove, the moonwalk, the billie jean video, the Thriller video. I remember countless hours trying to mimic his dancing, entertaining my friends with the latest MJ dance moves. I remember fans who could hardly contain themselves in the presence of MJ. Fans who would be sitting in the nosebleed sections of stadiums would faint dead away just at the sight of MJ.


I remember the command he would have over audiences, he won people over from all walks of life, all ages, all races, all over the world. His music was inspiring, his dancing and personna on stage was entrancing and you can not deny that he had total control over his audience the moment he stepped on stage. He could point in one direction and an entire section would go beserk wondeirng if MJ was pointing at them. He could electrify a crowd to the point that girls, and sometimes guys, would just lose themselves and all function. He was the ultimate entertainer.


Not only was he a musical and dancing geinus, he was also a very peaceful and beautiful soul. He gave his time, and a lot of his money, to help various causes around the world. He tried his best to Heal the World, one song at a time. He contributed to many charities and brought many other injustices and poverty problems around the world to light. He was also a very big contributer to the AIDS research, he befriended a little boy with AIDS when no one else wanted to come near him. Say what you want about his personal life and his antics, the MJ I will remember will always be the one that said "Heal the world, make it a better place for you and for me."

Most of today's musicians have been influenced by MJ one way or another, you may not like MJ or his music, but you do love someone who was influenced by him. His influence transcends all generes, from techno, to country, to hip hop, he may have been the King of Pop, but he was more than that, he was an inspiration to many. This is how I will remember him.....
