i'm currently layed off..little more time on my hands so i'm asking all the top notch growers if this will work..? my plan is to germ seeds in a moist paper towel and get some MG soil, put soil and sprouts in containers and then tape a flashlight to my head and stand over them 24 hours a day..will this work?

I think you might be onto something with this idea Mike....however your lighting technology is a bit old, and I propose the latest in LED headgear to maximize your potential yield. This model has 5 seperate 1w LED's, so you can adjust the intensity from seedlings to flower, and a factory installed head strap.
No more power bills either.

I don't look at life through rose colored glasses. my view of things is very positively tinged by another garden flower entirely.

I hear a plain ol 50watt bulb will work, might be too much light though as with the led's.

Too much red will make them stretch. I propose you also should get a blue flashlight, and hold one in each hand, to even it out.

Just hold a lighter above it, the flames produce the same amount of energy as the sun, more than any light known to man. The yield will be impecable, the defence will be inpregnable, I wanna fornicate.....fornicate...fornicate...... Oh wait yeah that flashlight will work fine.
