Stoner Buck$$: 1,021.86 | Scoring Just a opinion on the scoring settings .... because as you can see in the partial scoring thus far .... we have some large numbers ... I'm OK with any scoring system ... I just wanna make everyone aware before the season actually starts ... as those who were with us last year ... we found that the scoring for defenses were very high ... RBs are getting one point per attempt QBs are getting one point per completion
These 2 scoring criteria will tend to inflate numbers , and reduce the importance of real stats like yards and TDs ... for example 6 rushing attempts and zero yards is equivalent to getting a TD ... Similiarly 6 screen pass completions for little gain, counts same as a TD. WRs 2.0 points per reception -
'm good with points per reception ... I've been in leagues with 1 point per reception ... 2 seems a little high.

Stoner Buck$$: 1,576.40 | Re: Scoring Some of those settings i changed others were set by the league. if you'd [co and managers] like to suggest changes , i'll change any thing the majority wants. But it'd have to be before the season starts
so far the points for qb, rb and wr compleation, attenpts and receptions should be dropped
anything else

Stoner Buck$$: 1,069.56 | Re: Scoring I agree, the above should be eliminated.. The defensive/special teams settings, to me, seem a little high.. For the record, I am a low scoring league guy, but between the defensive points and special teams points, defenses could have pretty huge days, easily.. I suggest that sacks, interceptions and fumble recoveries be worth 1 instead of 2.. Maybe eliminate the extra points for yardage on punt/kick returns for td's, cuz they will 99% of the time be over 50 yards, which would give extra points, just keep em all at 6 points for the td.. I am not concerned about these changes, hadn't looked at scoring till now really, so whatever is decided is cool with me, just some suggestions for you's all to ponder.. So go ponder away!!!

Stoner Buck$$: 1,636.02 | Re: Scoring I am fine with those changes. Actually it really wasn't anything I would have questioned due to not paying attention to details! I am glad you guys are. The changes will definately lower the scoring and focus reward on the plays and players that deserve it. Thanks.

Stoner Buck$$: 1,576.40 | Re: Scoring Glad you all put some imput in, thanks, the changes i'll make are
1, no points for passing completions
2 no points for rushing attempts
3 one point for each recption instead of 2
4 6 points for a special teams td, no bonus points for distance
5 a sack from 2 points to 1
hows this sound,
changes can not be made untill after monday nights game, so on tuesday morning.
anything else was already set by the league, the only things i added were the bonuses for like 500 yards passing in a game, rushing yard bonuses etc
i think those 5 will lower the scores enough.
personally i like high scoring games, but the majority's opinion does matter, let me know what you all think, thanks
