possable Draft date change

I am on the phone with our commish and he is wanting to know if we can change the draft to this tuesday or wed of this week. the reason for this is that Heart has an surgery on thursday and if we could move the draft, it would help him so much

he would like to do it on wed evening, or tuesday evening.

EVERYONE needs to let me know if this is doable or not

Im good with the change on either of the days

as heartguy is my manager, i want to stay flexible to his schedule.

i do want to let the rest of the league know that heartguy and i have talked on the phone and this is only a courtesy request. he does not want or expect anyone to alter plans or commitments for the draft. no more than all of you, he just doesn't want to miss the draft. can't blame him though. i thought it was great fun myself last year.

if its possible, i believe he would be so grateful..... but if not, i think he wishes all of us the best.

*now thats what he told me anyway....do you think he thinks i can't do the draft????? was he just being nice to me??????? should i be upset????

I can do it either night ... No Problem ...

(Actually I fear the team drafted by Jabber ... she knows her Tight Ends ... )

Fine by me. Wednesday would be my first choice but I can do it Tuesday as well.

I spoke with boone and capt short bowl and they both can do it either day

I also spoke to pig and he said that Wed would be better for him
We do still need to hear from a few people so lets all try to get the word out

on any of the days, its still 4:30pm, right?
but i can be here by late in the evening,

oh cani when i mentioned the draft i was only talking about our team. i think toker and whoever assists him will be handling the draft.

my internet has been giving me troubles at night recently i dont know why but every night around 7 pm for the last 2-3 weeks my internet has gone offline for awhile sometimes hours and usually more than once. this is a problem because if it goes offline during the draft which i fully expect it probably will then im gonna miss out on the draft again. just wanted to let yall know that if im in chat or something and i log off all the sudden its cause my internet keeps goin offline and its the isp's fault not mine so i dont really know what to do.

thanks everyone, the only open date and time is wed at 4:30 eastern time. I changed the draft to that day- aug 27th, wed at 4:30

Thank you all so much for being so understanding. I had a double angio last wed. and on saturday I got food poisoning and well, you know, liquid out both ends at the same time. My double by-pass is sched, for this thursday at 7am, i'll be in ICU for 3 days or so then CCU for the rest of my 1 week stay. If all goes well i'll be home next wed.

OK, here goes TeeBox being difficult. Is the time of 4:30 PM correct? I guess I assumed when we were talking about changing the day that the time would stay the same; 6:30 PM.

If it has to be 4:30, just confirm it and I will make changes in my schedule tomorrow to make that work.

On another note, what was the final outcome on "keepers"? Although I have already revealed who my keepers were going to be, I have not seen a list of everyone elses' keepers. Also, if a team from last year keeps two players, do those names become that team's 1st and 2nd round draft choices? Logic tells me that is how it should work but then I have been illogical often in my life?

I have looked at this again and I am not going to try to make a 4:30 PM draft. I don't mean to be difficult but I have a job that is such that I just can't guarantee I can pick up and leave it in time to get home, eat or even change clothes in time to draft online at 4:30 in the afternoon.

I don't know what prompted the change to 4:30 but if that is cast in stone then I guess I will have to rely on 2 keepers and 14 free agents.
