its my first grow and it has to be blueberry im 3 weeks into flowering keep getting yellow leaves is this ok and do i pull em off as i have been doing;smoke

Does anyone know any techniques to get your buds more crystallized during flowering? I have heard putting sugar in the water does...the guy who said it grows some sick outdoor bud too. I am open to any ideas if anyone has any good ones let me know.

A few people have asked me recently why I don't post a lot of pictures from my own garden online, and the honest answer is simply that I didn't have much to show up until now. I went on a trip to Mexico in September, and during that time a lot of my plants stressed out, so I chopped a lot of them early, and left some of the scragglers that were in better condition, alone in 1 tray. It took us a couple of weeks to get some more plants ready to fill up the bloom room, and now I welcome you to see what I do personally with LED's.

First and foremost, I am a legal medical patient, within my legal guidelines for plant #, etc..., and this is my personal garden. I don't support breaking the law, or the illegal growing of marijuana.

Here's some information on my garden:

Each plant veges for about 4-5 weeks prior to entering the bloom room. During that time, they are usually topped about 3x, causing the plants to grow into super-thick little bushes with lots of tops. Once they reach 18" height, they transfer to bloom.

The bloom room operates at 85-90 degrees during the "day" cycle, and 65-70 degrees during the "night cycle. The humidity remains between 60-75%. There is a wall-mounted fan on each side of the room for good air movement, and of of course a carbon filter. My bloom room is a sealed environment, with CO2 levels at a constant 1500ppm via a fuzzy-logic controller. Since I use aeroponics, the nutrient solution is run through a water chiller, which maintains it at a constant 67-72 degrees. There is also a micro-pore air diffuser, and a commercial air pump constantly supplying oxygen to the solution.

In my bloom room are two 2' x 4' x 1' Aeroponics trays that our company manufactures. At full capacity, I run 8 plants per tray. Hanging over each tray, are six 126W LED Grow Lights that we also developed (as most of you know). So that's 756W over 8 plants x 2. The total room measures 9' x 8', with an 8' ceiling, and is lined in 97% reflective mylar (from the HID days). The canopy space measures approximately 5' x 6'.

I feed my girls Advanced Nutrients, Iguana Juice Bloom, and Dr. Hornby's Big Bud (not the current crap advanced makes since they split with Hornby). I run no other supplements currently in bloom. The nutrients are added per the manufacturer's recommendations for heavy feeding, and the reservoir is topped off with water mid-way through the week. Nutrients are changed out weekly when the system gets cleaned.

The current strains you'll see in these photographs are: Strawberry Cough X White Rhino, Ice, Grape Ape, Maui Wowie, AK47, Purple Arrow, Sensi Star, and Afghani X Brazilian Skunk. These plants will be replaced in a few months by Pineapple Express, Barney's LSD, Yumbolt 47, LA Confidential, Alaskan Ice, and A-Train.

Beginner looking to grow in closet

Here is my situation:

I have been smoking regularly for about 7 years now but never thought about growing until recently. I am as beginner as you get and to make things more complicated I am currently living back home with the parents due to tough economic times - also why I would like to start growing. Basically I would like to grow in my closet, it's a good size, I am not planning on growing more than 3 or 4 plants at the most, and I don't have a lot of clothes to get in the way. I would like to get some advice on how to do this; my parents are conservative republicans who aren't exactly weed friendly so they can't know about it. Most importantly is eliminating the smell, they don't ever go in my room but I know the smell can be overwhelming. Second is the basic set up, grow boxes or pots, lighting, fans, etc. I am clueless as how to do this, but I am fascinated with growing and love marijuana like a child, so I will learn quickly! Thanks in advance for your help.

grow box help

i need to know what you think. im growing 6 plants they are 2 1/2 weeks in veg and im building a grow box out of an old ent center it's 6ft tall by 3ft wide and 22in deep do you think this is enough room? and they are bagseeds so i will be weeding out the males hope not many. and also should i paint the insides white and will the smell of the paint effect the plants.this is my first time trying to grow indoors so im doing this cheep. i grew one plant 2 summers ago in my back yard and got lucky it was a female .a lot of weed chokes me then i cant breath,but that shit was some of the smoothist i ever had,still think i picked it about 3 weeks to soon but you know how that goes if i hadent someone would have i got 24g off it. if this turn out like that id love it!:harvest: these pics are from 4 day ago Attachment 13246

Need Info ON LED lights

Hi, today went out and got blue leds and a container. thinking of useing it as a cloner. but what colour of leds needed from growth stage? would red and blue lights work? if you have experimented with leds please help me thanks

So, yesterday I went and purchased all the lumber I needed to make a grow cabinet... Turns out we dont have a drillbit at my buddys house but eh, its all good. I will build it today haha.. Well The dimensions are 2ft. by 2ft. by 5 ft in height

Im new aswell, and I have a few questions concerning intake and exhaust etc..

Lights
So I will only be growing 1 plant for now, and I was thinkig about a 300w cfl for veg, and then for flower, a 300w cfl and 250 hps. that should about right?

And check it out, for my cfl, I am getting an attatchment that turns my light bulb socket, into an electrical socket. I will the get a clamp on lamp so I can lower / raise my light to whatever height needed, and I may also add that the glass will be able to be raised and lowerd aswell.

Exhaust / Intake
So from my research, i will be making a heat barrier : ) (this is obviously MUCH more efficiant than anything else i've seen) Glass will be the barrier.
Heres the problem. I live in an apt. and this cabinet will go in my closet.. I have to exhaust back into my room, which is no problem (I know I have to deal with odor smell) But exactly how would I do it?
And with the exhaust intake, I know I cut one or two holes (intake holes) in the bottom correct? And from my experience in automobiles and stuffs, The intake hole should be larger if im correct?
Now with the fans, I now know i will need 2 40cfm fans, one for intake, one for exhaust (thats how i wanna do it) but what really compuzzled me ol' head was how to not let sunlight get into where the fans were attatched..?

and also with the mdf board, will it do fine with the heat and the humidity of the plants? I have discussed what lights i will be using, Thanks guys!!!

growing 2 weeks, and doing good

;fishingnew here so bear with me pls. my plants are now 2 weeks old and 5in tall is this good or should they be taller,i use 125w plant lights i bought i keep the temp around 74, lights on 18 off 6 not sure of strain got seeds from someone that said they would be great! lol they were taller before i tranplanted to the big pots. any suggestons?

I need massive help here.

Okay, first off let me say thanks to whoever is taking the time to read this, and any feedback is appreciated.

SO ideally, My first thought was to plant one plant in my closet, using a 300w CFL for veg, and a 250 w HPS for flowering... Well then I got to thinking.. And im quite sure im going to need a grow box.(due to controlling odor / heat) Well in that case, i would subsequentially need to lower the light wattage and such, and overall... This grow box is kicking my ass >< So With a 1x1x5.. meaning 1 foot in length, 1 foot in width, and 5 feet in height. What lights would you recomend using? and if the box is 5 feet tall, is that high enough? What other items do you suggest might help? Im in a state of complete confusion! :| i would like to have my growbex ready by Thursday, so any help is appreciated.

Dixie cups to 5 gal???

need advice on flowering

I have a chrystal growing and when it finished its 5 th week of flowering it was left under a light fer 36 hours! my question is will it ever go back in flower or stay in veg forever!!! thanks;LOL
