So I started some Master Kush, vegged fine they all were nice and squat. Moved to flowering under a 600watt air cooled HPS system, kept the light close enough. But these babies keep growing taller. In my 5th week of flowering and every other day I have to raise the light as the babies actually touch the glass on the light. I thought Master Kush was a squaty plant?, maybe I don't have enough light? Any advice is appreciated.:harvest:

I was just gifted with this ----->GENERAL HYDROPONICS

Complete setup with an additional bag of Hydroton and an enormous amount of what look like 1/2" rockwool cubes. I also received the larger cubes for cloning. What do you hydro growers think of this product? I know nothing of hydroponics and for free, it seems like a good way to start.

I have a ebb and flow set up that feeds 3 times a day with BC nutes Technaflora recipe for sucess.1000w hps light hangs approx 32 inches from the tops of my plants. Room temp is 75 to 80 degrees. Plants leaves are curling down looking like a claw. Leaf edges are curling down as well. PH is 5.9 to 6.0 monitored daily. No matter what corrections i make nothing seems to stop the curling under.Any Ideas?

I've listened to people bitch and complain about cleaning hydroton since the first time I logged onto a grow forum. There's as many methods to cleaning the rocks as there is people growing, here's my method, post yours method here if you want.

First thing I do is clean out my shop vac then I pull all the rocks out of the bed. Very few roots get pulled out of the tray with this method. Little noisy and it works better with a vac that has a large capacity tank but end result is rocks with very few roots.
