Here are pictures from Denver's first "permitted" 420 Rally.
My adventure starts with a couple long view shots. Those mountains in the background are a good distance away...I'd say 50 miles.
Then what I call the 285 cut. It is where the 285 cuts through the last (first going West) mountain going East from the pictures perspective--toward the city.
The city from a distance is next and I don't know why but I just love that cityscape.
Then entering the park, wandering around, going backstage, returning from a visit to my car, back around the other side....more backstage, then the West boothers, then wind down and after event shots. I hope you enjoy them.
DENVER 420 RALLY--ZERO ARRESTS!!!
I don't care what you haters say. The Denver Law Enforcement Officers were fucking spectacular....Great Job one and all!!! THANK YOU!!!
I arrived around 2:45pm (late I know, but I never expected to spend all day there) I saw a lot of the boothers, vendors, and advocate organizations that had been there all day and I didn't envy them

I spoke with the new outreach director from SAFER, Anne Catto, and she had been going since the 4/19 Pre 420 events. I'm damn sure glad I'm not her

, but I do appreciate her all the more for her effort...well done, Anne Catto and THANK YOU!!!
When I first arrived at the Amphitheater my eye espied some lovely ladies all decked out in what could only be described as (skimpy?) sexy attire (amazingly beautiful, the lot) and I wasn't sure I was at the correct place....LOL...it turns out in my dalliance I missed some sort of beauty pageant (I'll show up a little earlier next time *spanks self*....LOL )
The Channel 7 (ABC), Denver mobile van was there the entire time I was. I only saw a short snippet on their website tonight (where is all of that work?

), it is a very good snippet all the same
Estimates from Channel 7 (ABC), Denver are 1500-2000. I heard estimates on the scene of 5000. From my perspective I think it is closer to 5000 than to 2000. In some of these images you can't see the end of the horde....lol.
Awesome turnout, great organization, and a fantastic event all around.
You guys really outdid yourselves  The host, Holly G, Miguel Lopez, Tiny (MMM) all did a really spectacular job...I couldn't be prouder of you effort!!!
To all the volunteers (which includes, speakers, and acts), sponsors, donors, and all of the boothers......THANK YOU!!!....Well fucking done!!!
Robert Corry was awesome for his time on stage...Thank you Robert.
The Acts were very cool too. Hip-hop song and dance (most of these shots are from behind them with me on stage and the lighting didn't work out so great....but most of the shots are of the dancers, they really were great!!!)
And then Juba Juba closed the event out as the crowds dwindled the music didn't and that includes some dedicated audience members...kudos all!!!
The gentleman with the glass is HILLBILLY GLASS. This is my meeting with him in person. He hooked me up with a really nice piece, but I used up all of my batteries and can't show you now. I will try and take some shots of that and the other accoutrement's gathered by me today...lol
I see now that a couple images should have been left out---fuck it..lol.
Oh, you see the NORML banner? They must have left it behind (well, actually that is a fact...lmao)...if they want it back I have it and they can have it back if they desire.
You'll also get the see Robert Corry dispensing his famous gang-flashing pose but we're really showing his pot leaf cuff links. Lookin fab Robert!!!...lol.
The last shot is a shot I took a month or so back and never used it anywhere and here seems like a nice place to use it....lol. It is looking East from mi casa at around sundown.
74, 77, 90, 95, 96, 109, 119, 129, 131, 132 didn't upload...."size limits..." (I think these are all the shots I had turned on there side 90 degrees. I'll look at them tomorrow and see if they are worth resizing to try again....I'z *still* toooooo damn tired right now to mess with it
Contined...
