After being layed off for the last 5 months, I am going to be looking for a job. The last time I looked for a job was 1996. I’m aware that whatever job I find, I will be required to take a urine test. My question is, How to avoid detection? (Without quitting completely, I will cut down)) I WILL not take any “masking” agents as I’m sure (don’t know for a fact) the technology is there to detect “masking” agents rather easily. Besides I went through this experience in ’96 and they tasted like crap and worked with little result (in my experience). I’m hoping to find somebody who was recently in the same boat as me and beat the system. I’m also sure height, weight; age, diet, and exercise play a huge factor. So a little about me….

I am 37, 6’3, 240lbs (more muscle then fat) my diet is pretty simple, and has been my diet for the last 15 years. I drink close to a gallon of water a day. And usually eat a bowl of cereal in the morning, turkey sandwich at lunch, and Chicken and vegetables for dinner. I do eat fattier foods in slow moderation (who doesn’t?) And I also take OMEGA 3 supplements along with a multivitamin daily. I also exercise by walking 2 miles daily, and hit the weights 3 times a week.

Also, I won’t drink vinegar; it is bad for the kidneys in any amount.

One more thing, please spare me any “morality” speeches. They will be laughed at!

You're right about masking agents, they're very easy to test for. The urine is a negative for THC, add some THC. If it's still negative, you've got a masking agent. However, depending on what type of job you're applying for, I don't imagine they would spend the extra money on that test, but it's not worth the risk IMO.

I had to piss for a job about 2 months ago. Basically I did everything. TONS of water and TONS of cardio. You're a big guy, I'd go with more than a gallon of water a day and I'd bump the cardio intesity by a lot.

I took some Niacin as well. That's something you may or may not want to research. Ultimately I also had a piss pouch that I used. This is really the way to go, takes a lot of the guess work out of it, but if you are unsure if your test will be monitored, like I was, then you should do the other things as well.

i recommend you buy some powdered urine. you can find it on truetest.com. its 100% real urine you just add water and sneak it in. it comes with a stick on thermometer and 2 heating elements to keep it at the right temp. i bought some because i am also looking for a new job and do not wish to quit smoking..... and with this i won't. there is also have a number you can call and they will answer any questions you may have. i just wouldn't recommend this for a parole test because they watch you pee but they can't watch you pee for a job test. if i find a job b4 you i will let you know how it goes for me.

This is one of the questions thats been answered a thousand times. Masking agents do work as I used them 5 years ago for probation. Supervised meet once a week with drug court probation. I took a drug test once a month every month and surprise tests every other week and smoked the day of the test and passed with flying colors all the while half the time being stoned when i took the test. Masking agents have evolved the last 13 years! Go to gnc get some chf. Its a juice, comes in grape orance and fruit punch. Drink the bottle an hour before your test, after 15 minutes fill the bottle with water, drink that and piss once or twice before the test and ur good. If this shit allowed me to pass a state lab test with 6 months of prison on the line it will let you pass yours too.

The last time I had to worry about this I was dating a girl that worked for a pharmaceutical company (office job, not Walgreens) and I remember she told me that MOST companies only test for the last 30 days, which was required by law in Illinois, at least at the time it may have changed. If they really wanted to spend the money, they could go back 6 months. Usually jobs that require security clearance, which isn’t what I do. MOST go for what is required by law.
I’ve thought long and hard about this, and believe me I DON’T want to do it, but I think I’m going to take JUSTAGUY’s advice and quit for a while.
Welby- thank you for the advice regarding stepping up the water and exercise, but I have a whopping 4 days so far and I won’t take a test until I’m clean for 4-6 weeks and I believe the way I eat and exercise now, it will be achieved. I will also research Niacin a little more as I assume it is meant to provide an extra boost In detoxifying.

Stonernurse82- I went to that website, and it was for dermatology products, nothing about synthetic urine.
Also, I don’t think synthetic urine is the way to go for ME. I can hide it in the pocket of a pair of baggy cargo pants, but I have a tendency to be clumsy when it comes to hiding things on my body and I will under no circumstance insert anything in my As$ cheeks! I’ve NEVER been in a situation where I had to, and pray I never have to! (perhaps I’ve seen one too many episode’s of LOCKUP on CNBC or OZ)

I’m sure this website is monitored by some “I’m holyier than Thou” watchdog group. I would like to chat with a few of you off this site, not sure if it’s possible.

the home kits test to the minimum amount usually tested for which i think is 50ng/dl but if your employeer is the government or something like that then they may test for less than that......up to 10ng/dl i think but most don't cause it costs more. most of what i have read online though say you can get your system clean if you stop for 4-5 weeks but it also depends on your bodyfat, activity lvl, metabolism,amount smoked daily and other things like that. it may take more or less time.

but judging by your first post you should be okay by the time you test. just buy a self test before to see. if you are still paranoid about failing then you can buy the fake piss but you should be fine if you take a break and work out like you have been doing. also things like cranberry juice can help so i hear (it couldn't hurt anyway)
