| Re: hair test cures?
If it's anything like workplace drug testing, shaving only your head will not necessarily help. They can (and do) use hair from the chest, underarms and legs. I've even seen lab reports where they took pubic hair. As a last resort, there are hair testing labs (Psychemedics) who can also test fingernails.
I've heard conflicting reports on the ability of certain kinds of shampoos or other products designed to beat hair testing. The problem is that it's the interior parts of the follicle such as the cuticle that are tested (the lab removes the outer sheaths before testing) and shampoos and other topical products will only clean contaminents from these outer layers.
The good news is that hair really doesn't absorb metabolites all that well so first-time or infrequent users may well skate by. Also because it takes time for hair to grow, use from less than a week before the day of the test is unlikely to be detected.
Finally, please extend my personal thanks, admiration and appreciation to your friend. He, and the men and women like him are the reason that we all have the freedoms we enjoy every day.
