ok so first thing you have to do is come up with about $50000 to start up
then start a non for profit corporation .. find out zoning laws get a lawyer and get the correct licenses .. open up sign people up with your collective try to stay WAY under the radar .. no signs, no advertising let the customers find you and then just sit there and wait until they come to shut you down because you will get shut down u can deny the local police but they will tell you they will be back with the feds. its not fun...

First hire a good attorney to walk you through the steps.secure lots of marketing monies.find a city or location.pay for proper advice from someone who knows what they are talking about.

there are a few laywers in the denver area who specialize in this area that would probably be happy to help out.

look up brian vicente, rob corry or warren edson for your needs. i am not sure if one of them specializes in dispensaries or if one of them just plain doesnt handle them, but one of those people will absolutely be able to help a person get a dispensary started in colorado or the denver area.

You might want to seek out a no name youngster willing to be fair in billings.

While good information in any other thread on this topic, it does not wholly apply to Colorado.

They can run as for profit entities.....I said 'can'....not that I would want them to become Medicine Barons, but, to make a living would not be totally unfair either.

I'd wish for them to give it away, but that's not likely to happen either.

Check around, there is a sort of tutorial on starting a dispensary running around the net. It may not be the be all to end all it does have some very good information. If I find it I'll post it up.
