Sitting behind two smokers in a purple truck
The windows up
Smoke caresses and fills my lungs
My nose hairs shriveling like dried grapes
Cloudy atmosphere
My eyes are bloodshot
My vision blurry
I take a breath and inhale a puff of smoke
The air thick and smoggy
My breath shortened
I start to cough
up coming of chunks and blood
Am I going to die, I ponder?
I can't help but think about my one and only
Only the thought of one last breath not being able to talk
This is the end of me!
My hopes and dreams gone with my last breath
My last words not spoken
My eyes close, my mind blurs
This is the end of me my love
