Man i love this guys writing, it's amazing how addicted to the Odd thomas series i was, i have read other book by him and it makes a great night reader, i really wish that he would produce another movie....

He is my favorite author.

Dean Koontz is my favorite Author. "By The Light of the Moon" and "Life Expectancy" are two of my favorites.

I finished Watchers about 2 weeks back, best Koontz book that I have read.

Anything by Dean Koontz is definitely an entertaining read. Personal favorites are the Odd Thomas books, Velocity and Life Expectancy (same as others have mentioned I guess). He always hooks you in with some crazy creative premise in the beginning and you're hooked. Almost impossible to put down. Life Expectancy was a trip with him knowing what dates that bad things would happen and trying to escape them.

I've never read much Stephen King, but "Cell" is a really fun book and hard to put down - kinda similar to the movie 28 days later in a way.

Had never heard of him untill I saw his book the good guy on the shelf and bought it for some reason. Good book, nothing incredible though, was really the Krait character that made it so good.

Keep seeing his name everywhere since then. Saw a film that was based on one of his books the other night, has really good ideas in it.

He's obviously quite well known then?
