I recommend each and every one of you read Infinite Jest, by David Foster Wallace. Seriously. It is long as hell, but SOOOOOO worth it. It is slightly (read: extremely) pretentious, but if you can get past that, it is an amazing work. You may need two book marks and you also may need to read it twice.

Sadly, the author hanged himself in 2008. R.I.P.
