Thinking About getting my tongue pierced
Im thinking about getting my tongue pierced, one of my friends said you cant smoke for awhile after getting it done. Is there any truth to that statement?

Re: Thinking About getting my tongue pierced
Bongs are my preffered method anywho, so I should be good. Where you able to eat normally after you got it done? Or where there certain foods you had to avoid?

it depends on your comfort level....the day I got it done, I had a big azz burrito from a place in town called Mexican Village, it was great but I found myself eating very slowly and not finishing it......
my suggestion is to avoid hard chewing and foods that tend to get stuck in your mouth (spaghetti, peanut butter etc etc) at least til the swelling goes down. Secondly, when you're eating after the swelling goes down, eat slower and remember to keep your tongue from twisting over your teeth, that will help you avoid CHOMPING on the barbell or the balls.
Depending on your pain tolerance, it should not hurt other than the needle going thru the tongue and then possibly a lil swelling....for me as soon as I felt pain I grabbed a bowl of ice cream and no problem after that.

Heh, reminds me of days past. The piercing experience isn't bad at all, I just kept a little bottle of Listerine on hand. It's fun to put an ice cube in your mouth, the ball on top will melt into the cube and sink the heat out of the bar cooling the inside of your tongue a bit, plus it will just hang there. The ice that is. Just do it, if you don't like it, take it out and it'll close up.

All your base are currently under revision. . . What?
DO NOT EAT RAMEN NOODLES!!!! I tried eating ramen 2 days after I got mine pierced but ended up with the damn noodles wrapped around the stud.
I have had mine for 10 years it is now 2 guage I refuse to take it out even though it has cost me $3,000 in dental bills (you bite down on the ball and it chips teeth).
when i had mine pierced they did it far too close to the tip and it swelled so much i couldnt eat for a couple of days. then about 4 months later i was eaten a slice of pizza and it caught and ripped right through!
i havent worn it in about 3 yrs but the hole is still there to this day.
You should get it done.
You can smoke afterwards. Well I did anyway lol, And try and eat things like soup. Was good for me cause I do love soup hahaha.
But yeah if you get it done it gives you something to playing around with in boring situations.

I never really desired to have my tongue pierced. Although, I once dated a girl that had her tounge and nipples pierced. Anyways, I say go for it. If you don't like it then just take it out. Also Listerine will become your new best friend.
