I have just recently added a new feature here at Stoner Forums called Stoner Buck$$.
Although it is still in the early stages, I have decided to introduce you to the start of our very own Stoner economy here at SF.
The purpose of SB$$ is to allow you the option and way to earn credits for use with some of our new and planned upcoming features we have here on the site.
There has recently been some casino action that has been added for all registered members, including blackjack, texas holdem, and a couple other games. These credits will also soon be used for our games in our arcade.
How do I earn SB$$?
At the moment, there are only a couple ways to earn SB$$, but there will be more possibilities added in the near future.
Currently, the main ways you can receive SB$$ is by posting in the forums and referring others to SF.
There will be other possible ways of earning added in the near future, like activity bonuses for being active on the forums, adding and receiving Karma, starting threads, replying to threads, voting on and opening polls, and maybe some more surprises.
I still don't have everything decided and all the specifics worked out, but will be sure to update as i get more sorted out.
When I added hygro'bux to my forums... I did it as incentive to buy from my store, and to use affiliates. For every 100$ spent in my store, or with affiliates...I credited members with 15 hygro'bux. When they accumulated $100 hygro'bux, I allowed them a $15.00 credit in my store. Just a thought
I have thought of that and it might be a possibility down the road to be able to redeem for SF merchandise or maybe some sponsor products or something like that, but not setup for anything like that at the moment. And since the credits are earned for free and no requirements to make any purchases, that would be a lot of money out of my pocket, lol. But the future is wide open and you never know what can happen, the possibilities are endless.
Im just trying to catch some of you guys in the arcade right now. But 5 bucks might get more activity. Its just fictious money after all... Damn, now it sounds like Im complainin again! LOL... Oh well. I don't mean too.

Some regular marketing in there for slow days would be beneficial. Something like "Super Bucks Modndays" or whatever. Maybe 10 bucks per post in stead of 5. Or 4 instead of 2.
Then for merchandise, you just make the figures astronimical to convert to gift shop credit. 10,000 bucks=$1 cash credit towards merchandise. If someone is creating that much traffic, it is worth the freakin coffee mug.
Id just like to say, that with the induction of Stoner Bucks, posting has probally doubled.

Hmm, i don't think you got them for PM's.
But I am working on some things that you can get random bucks every now and then, and also rewarded various amounts stuff like posting, others posting in your thread, certain amount of different people viewing your thread, giving Karma, polls, and maybe a few others if i can work them out.
Some are changing a little as I fine tune other parts of the system, but once everything is worked out there will be plenty of ways to earn and receive Stoner Buck$$, and more options to use them in the future.
