Its a clean box for working with tissue cultures and DNA...
You can see some cultures in petri dishes (in the ziplock bags) and some shoots in test tubes on the top shelf...
Under the black shelf, next to the 'fridge' is a two-way hatch for moving things in and out. The 'fridge' is styrofoam and dry ice... The plastic containers hold all my mats and tools...
My goal is to extract the proper DNA fragments from marijuana and use them to transform the DNA from another plant to create a new THC containing plant.

OMFG I NEED TO DO THIS!
If only I had a way to help further this idea.
Keep on with that, I'll buy some when you get it right!

Stoner Buck$$: 137.35 | Re: Tissue Cultures and DNA Transformations... Its a slow process... and I don't have sequencing equipment other than electrophoresis gels, which is just enough to tell me if my common flower DNA has changed after transforming it with DNA taken from my pot cultures. I'll have to grow everything out to see what effect the changed DNA has...
I'm thinking about making a video of the DNA extraction and transformation, but its such a pain getting into those gloves that I hate to take them on and off to run the camera...

Stoner Buck$$: 741.98 | Re: Tissue Cultures and DNA Transformations... What plants are you planning on trying to infuse the Cannabis DNA with? You should use Hops man, that would be genius...
It's a sister plant to Cannabis and is a needed plant for the HUGE alcohol industry, therefore wouldn't be banned...
...and perhaps with hops being related to cannabis it may make the transformation more easily and produce THC.
Just an Idea...I really don't know what I'm talkin' about.

Stoner Buck$$: 1,319.04 | Re: Tissue Cultures and DNA Transformations... There's that, plus you could pollinate commercial hops and they'd be screwed. No outlawing that. Who knows, you may wind up catastrophically fucking the brewing industry.

I've got a couple strains of praire grass that I'm going to try as well, but first things first... I'll see what the violets do and go from there..

If it works, I'm just going to give it away... I'll try and find some growers to do a few grows of it and then have them give it to other growers.... I want to share, but I don't want to be teaching people to grow
